You find him at the crossroads; a pretentious human mess at the same intersection he has stood at for the past few years. You ask him why he has been standing here so long.
"I'm waiting for the day I know I shall make the right decision," he tells you. "Then, and only then will I take those first few steps into the unknown-" He pauses and smiles wistfully to himself, amused by some silent joke only he understands. "-and then I shall never look back."
You ask him why he doesn't just blindly take a path; eenie-meenie-minie-mo it or flip a coin or something. His response:
